Archives of Manitoba

The Archives of Manitoba is a rich resource for the study of the history of Manitoba and its people, as well as the history of the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC). Through the Archives of Manitoba, the Louis Riel Institute has been granted permission to share specific collections relating to the Red River Métis people and community for reference purposes.

The Archives of Manitoba holds the copyright on the collections. As such, collections may have legal, institutional, and/or imposed restrictions to access some or parts of the collections.
