Speaking Michif

Speaking Michif is a set of language modules, printable resources and videos developed by the Louis Riel Institute to assist in teaching families the Michif language. The lessons are at a beginner level, on the theme of everyday family life and can be easily practiced at home as they involve everyday activities and conversations. Speaking Michif has also been designed to be used in a Language Classroom. Speaking Michif was generously funded by the Canadian Heritage, Aboriginal Languages Incentive.
